On Friday morning April 25th, at 8 am, TAG and the Tully High School Environmental Sciences class will be planting and Elm Tree in the right of way along Elm Street in front of the Lamereaux's house next to the High School. The tree planting is to celebrate Arbor Day and kick off a new tree planting initiative within the Village. The students and TAG members will be conducting a tree survey of the Village in May which will be used to plan our own Urban Forest. The Cornell University Urban Horticulture Institute has graciously offered to conduct an analysis of the data for free! The main planting effort will begin this fall.
