The Village of Tully Department of Public Works crew are trained and certified in Water Quality & Distrbution, Waste Water Management along with their everyday tasks of caring for the village streets and public areas. The crew, lead by Superintendent Harold Kiehl who has over 25 years of service, recently was awarded the Waste Water Treatment Plant of the Year by the New York State Rural Water Association. The WWTP was graded on operational efficiency and presents of the plant. An honor well deserved. The other crew members are DPW Assistant's Mike Hoke and Rich Patterson. Mike was responsible for coordinating a joint venture with the Town of Tully constructing two new pavilions one at Cummings Park and a seconded at Tully Town Park. Mike is also certified in Wastewater Management and has his Water Certification. Rich who is responsible for landscaping and mowing has recently received his NYS Water Certification and is currently working on his NYS Wastewater Management Certification.
